Poster Boys and Daddy

This Friday we had ‘Poster Boys’ and ‘Daddy’ clashing at the box office. Two films dealing in two completely contrasting genres battled it out at the box office. Starring Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol and Shreyas Talpade, ‘Poster Boys’, was an out an out comedy film with ‘Daddy’ starring Arjun Rampal was an intense gangster-thriller film based on the film of underworld gangster Arun Gawli. Both the films received mixed reviews from the critics but it looks like the film starring Deols took the lead.

On its first Tuesday, ‘Poster Boys’ collected Rs 1 crore while ‘Daddy’ managed to mint Rs 60 lakhs at the box office. With this the total collection of ‘Poster Boys’ stands at Rs 9.35 crore while ‘Daddy’ stands at Rs 5.80 crore. Though the collections are quite low but one can clearly see that ‘Poster Boys’ has surpassed the collections of ‘Daddy’.
