‘Shivaay’ collections drop while ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ runs steady on Wednesday!

Even though the clash between ‘Shivaay’ and ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ had a rocky start, it only got intense post the first weekend. Both the films witnessed an enormous jump at the box office on the first Monday. A dull clash soon turned into a neck-to-neck competition, but again, on Wednesday, Karan Johar’s ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ showed a surge over Ajay Devgn’s ‘Shivaay’.

Going by the box office reports, ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ fared decently on Wednesday while ‘Shivaay’ witnessed a huge drop in numbers. ‘ADHM’ that stars Ranbir Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Anushka Sharma managed to accumulate approximately Rs 7.5 crore at the box office whereas ‘Shivaay’ managed to mint only Rs 5.75 crore on Wednesday.

With this, the total collection of ‘ADHM’ stands at Rs 72.04 crore and ‘Shivaay’ stands at Rs 56.40 crore.
