John Abraham’s The Diplomat opened on Friday with a surprisingly low level of hype. Though it hasn’t improved much, the political thriller is doing well at the box office on Day 4. As per the latest update on Sacnilk.com, The Diplomat has collected ₹1.50 crore, taking the total to ₹14.80 crore.

The film had an overall 7.35 percent occupancy in Hindi on Monday. In terms of attendance, the morning shows drew 4.97 percent, the afternoon shows 8.94 percent, and the evening shows 8.14 percent.
Even though it got good reviews when it came out, John Abraham’s movie hasn’t made much money at the box office. With the opening day profits of ₹4 crore not showing any progress in the days that followed, the film’s earnings have stayed mostly unchanged.

The Diplomat is directed by Shivam Nair, it stars John Abraham and Sadia Khateeb in the leading roles. The film is based on the true story of Indian national Uzma Ahmad, who was rescued from Pakistan in 2017 after being allegedly honey-trapped and forced into marriage at gunpoint.
