Shivam Nair’s The Diplomat – starring John Abraham and Sadia Khateeb as Deputy High Commissioner of India in Pakistan, JP Singh and Uzma Ahmed – an Indian woman seeking repatriation to her homeland after a forceful marriage across the border, released in theatres on Friday and has been impressing the audience. The Holi release has show growth over its first weekend and below is a detailed report of its domestic collection.

As per latest box office reports, John Abraham and Sadia Khateeb starrer The Diplomat has seen a minima growth in comparison to its Saturday’s collection. The film earned an impressive Rs 4.74 crore on Day 3 taking its 1st Weekend India NBOC to Rs 13.45 crore.

About The Film
Giving the film a 3.5 star rating, Bollywood Bubble wrote in it review, “It is a must watch to appreciate the hard work of the Indian diplomats aiming to keep our country people safe across the globe.” Praising Sadia’s performance, the review reads, “(Her performance) as Uzma will touch your hearts. She has given her all to the role – be it in expressions or body language.“
