Vedaa, Khel Khel Mein Box Office: John Abraham & Akshay Kumar starrer do combine business of nearly Rs 12 crore on Day 1

August 15, 2024, saw the clash of 3 Bollywood films at the box office – Khel Khel Mein, Vedaa and Stree 2. Vedaa, Khel Khel Mein Box Office

As per the latest box office reports, Vedaa collected Rs 6.75 crore nett at the box office while Akshay Kumar’s Khel Khel Mein amassed an opening of Rs 5.23 crore nett. This takes the film’s combined total to around Rs 12 crore. The third Bollywood film to release on Independence Day 2024 – Stree 2 amassed an astonishing Rs 55.40 crore nett on Day 1, making it the 4th highest opening Bollywood film of all time.

Bollywood Bubble gave both films a 3-star rating. Praising the Akshay Kumar starrer, the reviewer wrote, “Khel Khel Mein is a fresh and engaging narrative that seamlessly blends humour with emotion, keeping the audience captivated from start to finish. The film is not just hysterically funny but also deeply heartfelt, capturing a range of emotions with authenticity and nuance.”

Talking about the John starrer, BB wrote in its review, “Sharvari is an actress to watch out and she’s only cemented this statement with her performance in Vedaa. John, Abhishek and Kshitij’s portrayal of the gruesome reality will make you flinch.”
