The proposal took place during an episode of Desi Bling, the Indian adaptation of Dubai Bling, which premiered on Netflix on May 20. Karan Kundrra planned a grand surprise proposal with the help of the show’s cast members, including Rizwan Sajan, Satish Sanpal, Adel Sajan, Sana Sajan, Tabinda Sanpal, Pamela Serena, Dyuti Parruck, Iryna Kinakh, Alizey Mirza, Lailli Mirza, and Janvee Gaur.

As Tejasswi Prakash arrived at the lavishly decorated venue, she saw the words “Will You Marry Me?” illuminated across the water. Karan then went down on one knee and asked, “Tejasswi Prakash, will you marry me?” Visibly emotional, Tejasswi reacted by saying, “I am shivering. My hands are not going to stop.”

She also reflected on the criticism and doubts the couple faced during the early phase of their relationship. “Jab hum mile the, toh bahut kuch hua tha… Jab hum bahar aaye, sab ne kaha tha ki yeh toh 2 hafte nahi tikenge. Kisi ne kaha tha main fake hu; kisi ne kaha tu fake hai. It’s been four years; we’ve seen everything, and we’ve been through everything,” she shared.

Karan later delivered an emotional speech about how Tejasswi changed his perspective on love and commitment. He said, “‘Imperfectly perfect love story’, yeh tune hi term diya tha. Every year that I spent with you, it has changed the meaning of love for me. I never thought I would ever fall in love or commit. I want to thank you for bringing out the man in me, the man who has the guts to say, ‘This is it. It’s now and forever.’”

The emotional moment quickly went viral online, with fans sharing clips and congratulatory messages across social media platforms.

Anusha Dandekar’s Cryptic Note Sparks Buzz

Meanwhile, another conversation started online after Anusha Dandekar shared an Instagram Story that read, “I’m Thanking God!!! #iykyk.”

Although Anusha did not mention anyone directly, several social media users linked the timing of the post to Karan and Tejasswi’s proposal. Discussions soon spread to Reddit and other platforms, where users debated the meaning behind her message. However, Anusha herself did not make any direct statement about the couple or the proposal.

Karan Kundrra and Anusha Dandekar dated for several years before parting ways in 2020. They even co-hosted MTV’s Love School together between 2016 and 2019. However, their relationship ended in 2020 during the lockdown, with the split making headlines after Anusha publicly hinted at betrayal and dishonesty.

Later, Karan and Tejasswi met during Bigg Boss 15 in 2021 and eventually began their relationship inside the show. Aside from their dramatic reality TV milestone, the pair can currently be seen on cooking-comedy show Laughter Chefs.
