Punjabi singer Rajvir Jawanda, aged 35, has tragically passed away after an 11-day battle in a Mohali hospital following a severe accident in Himachal Pradesh. The accident left him with critical head and spine injuries, and he suffered a cardiac arrest at Civil Hospital before being transferred to Fortis Hospital. Punjabi actress Neeru Bajwa announced his death on social media, expressing her heartfelt condolences to his family.
Rajvir Jawanda Passed Away At 35 After Severe Accident
Jawanda was hospitalised after a bike accident near Baddi, Himachal Pradesh, on September 27. Despite efforts to save him, he succumbed on Wednesday, October 8, leaving fans and the Punjabi entertainment community devastated.
Neeru Bajwa shared a heartfelt message on her social media platform. She said,“Heartbroken by the tragic loss of such a young and promising life. Sending deepest condolences to Rajvir’s family and loved ones. May you find strength and peace during this difficult time. Gone too soon, but never forgotten.”
Earlier, on October 1, fellow singer Ammy Virk had shared an update indicating Rajvir’s condition was improving, noting that his heartbeat was stable and that prayers were helping. He wrote, “Rajvir’s heartbeat is now stable. Nature is showing its grace, and our prayers are making a difference. Stay strong — Rajvir is in high spirits.”

The accident occurred Saturday morning near Baddi, Himachal Pradesh. After initial treatment at Civil Hospital, where he experienced a cardiac arrest, he was transferred to Fortis Hospital. Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann also visited the hospital to check on his condition.

Rajvir Jawanda was known for hits such as “Kali Jawande Di,” “Mera Dil,” and “Sardari.” Besides his singing career, he acted in Punjabi films and was admired for his energetic stage performances.
