The special video, shared by Mythri Movie Makers, features the romantic track “Endhayya Saami” (also released in Hindi as O Mere Saajan), and shows the characters Ranabaali and Jayamma, played by none other than our ViRosh, Vijay and Rashmika, getting married on screen. The poster unveiled carries the caption, “Our RANABAALI and JAYAMMA ✨
Together, forever ❤️
Celebrating their love with this special surprise 🫶”
and concludes with a message “Ranabaali Grand release worldwide on September 11th 🔥”

This marks the first on-screen project the newlyweds have promoted together since officially tying the knot, after Dear Comarade and Geetha Govindam.

Ranabaali, directed by Rahul Sankrityan, is set in a period backdrop and features music by Ajay–Atul with lyrics by Ramajogayya Sastry. The track Endhayya Saami, O Mere Saajan in Hindi, depicting love, union and celebration, was released in multiple languages: Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada, underlining the film’s Pan-India appeal. The makers’ decision to launch it right after the couple’s marriage has further boosted anticipation among fans and audiences nationwide.

Set in 19th-century India, Ranabaali is inspired by real-life events said to have occurred between 1854 and 1878 during British rule. The first glimpse suggests the film explores a dark chapter of colonial history, referencing large-scale violence, staggering economic plunder and human loss during that period.

In the film, Vijay plays a freedom fighter named Ranabaali, a character positioned as fierce and uncompromising in his rebellion. Rashmika will portray Jayamma, a pivotal role expected to anchor the emotional core of the story. Actor Arnold Vosloo is set to appear as the antagonist, Sir Theodore Hector.

For Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna, this cinematic wedding moment in Ranabaali echoes their own real-life journey, from celebrated co-stars in hits like Geetha Govindam and Dear Comrade to newlyweds on and off screen, making 2026 an especially memorable year for the beloved pair and their fans. The film is slated to release on 11 September 2026 worldwide.
