Actress Payal Ghosh, who’s earned a lot of love and appreciation over the years with her work as an actress in South movies and in Bollywood, is currently looking forward to building a secondary profession that will co-exist with her work as an actor. Yes, you heard it right. Payal, who has worked with some of the best actors in both industries earlier, is currently receiving training to be a professional cabin crew member. The actress has already started her training programme for the same, and soon after her training, she plans to join Air India as a cabin crew. One must note that for Payal, this is just a side hustle which will co-exist alongside her career and work as an actress.

Actress Payal Ghosh Began Her Career As A Hostess Training

In an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Bubble, Payal shared why she decided to take this decision after the Ahmedabad plane crash incident, and said, “First of all, let me make it very clear for all my well-wishers, media and everyone that for me, I am looking at my cabin crew profession going forward as a side hustle. For me, acting will always remain my priority and I am definitely going to continue focusing on that. Having said that, all actors love creating a side hustle around their work right? For me, this is going to be the side hustle.”

She added, “Right from childhood, I have always been fascinated with the world of glamour and as far as glamour is concerned, the life of cabin crews and actors are quite synonymous. For me, this is more of an extension of my work as an actress. Acting is a lot about observing and cabin crews get an opportunity to work around people with different shades and personalities as passengers. So, this is going to be a big learning curve as well for me as an actor. As far as deciding the tragic plane crash is concerned, I am a spiritual personality who believes in the idea of fighting her fears. At the end of the day, death is inevitable when it has to happen.”

Payal Shares Her Excitement For Joining Air India Cabin Crew Member

Concluding, the actress said, “There’s a lot of panic around people to fly as passengers after the crash. The fear gripped me a little as well. That’s when I thought this is the ideal time to not only fight my fear but also give wings to a side hustle that I have always admired and respected. The life of cabin crews is never easy. There’s a lot of hard work that goes there and I have always respected that. So, my decision to build this as a side hustle now is a culmination of all these factors put together.”

She added, “I look forward to completing my training and joining Air India as a crew member, hopefully soon. I am excited for this phase of my life where I am going to be balancing between multiple professions, and I am more excited than ever before. Fingers crossed, and I need everyone’s good wishes and blessings. My gratitude to everyone.”

Kudos to Payal Ghosh for choosing to fight her fear like a true warrior and simultaneously taking the big leap to fuel her ambition around her side hustle. We wish her good luck for all her upcoming endeavours, both as an actress as well as a cabin crew with Air India.
