EXCLUSIVE: Actress Shriyam Bhagnani Opens Up On Working With R Madhavan In Aap Jaisa Koi; Says, “He Doesn’t Carry His Star Status With Him”

Actress Shriyam Bhagnani is currently riding high on the success of her latest released film Aap Jaisa Koi. She played the role of Nisha in the film. The actress recently spoke about working with R Madhavan and praised him for being humble and grounded.

Shriyam Bhagnani Calls R Madhavan ‘Curious’

According to her, Madhavan does not act like a star and is very easy to talk to. She said his friendly nature made the work smooth and fun. Speaking to Bollywood Bubble, she said, “No matter what I say, it’s not going to be enough because the experience has been so beautiful. He’s very kind. When you work with the star of his stature, you expect, I don’t know what to expect. I haven’t worked with the star stature before, but in my mind I was like maybe he come to the room and he’ll get to know, but he enters the room and he enters the room so quietly, like, it’s not like he makes his presence heavy.”

Shriyam described him as a curious and kind person who always wants to learn more. She further added, “He doesn’t carry his star status with him everywhere. He is a very magical and interactive person with everyone. He’s very curious about everyone, about what’s going on in everyone or in technology and what’s new, what things are happening in business. So there’s a lot of curiosity that comes with it, which makes it very easy to work with him.”

The Batti Gul Meter Chalu actress also talked about her memorable moments on sets with co-stars Ayesha Raza and Anubha Fatehpuria. She expressed, “There have been many memorable moments with Ayesha Raza, Anubha Fatehpuria and Ritu Chaudhary ma’am, so these are three actors in the film that I became very good friends with and used to hang out a lot, even after shoots or like in between shots. We also ended up planning a photo shoot. Which we have, which have our Instagram as well. And even now, like even now, we have this little WhatsApp group where we keep chatting and we keep laughing and encouraging each each other’s work every day. I think that’s my most memorable thing from this movie.”
