Actor Aditya Thakare, the rising star set to make waves with Dhadak 2, is already grabbing attention and not just for his acting chops. With a name strikingly similar to that of politician Aaditya Thackeray, curiosity naturally follows.

In a candid conversation with Bollywood Bubble, Aditya was questioned if this has ever led to confusion because of the similar names, Thakare laughed it off, saying, “Not really, his face is well-known, mine wasn’t (until now, hopefully!).”

However, he admits the coincidence has worked in his favour a few times, especially when it comes to restaurant reservations. “I’ve definitely been let into a few dinner reservations a bit faster than usual because people assumed I was coming. Can’t complain,” he quipped.

As he steps into the limelight with a highly anticipated sequel, Aditya Thakare seems ready to make a name for himself quite literally and prove that talent, not mistaken identity, is what truly opens doors.
