Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi was a famous series from 2000 that aired for 8 years; the leads were ‘Tulsi’ Smriti Irani and ‘Mihir’ Amar Updhyay. Recently, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2 premiered and has gained more love for the reboot.
In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble, Mohammad Nazim, the lead of Saath Nibhaana Saathiya, opened up about his co-star Amar Upadhyay, who played his son-in-law. Mohammad Nazim On Watching Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2
When asked if he watched any episodes of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2, Mohammad Nazim said, “Of course, yaar us time main ne jo Rohit hai na ladka, woh hamare show Saathiya mein hamara beta bana tha. Toh mujhe laga ki yaar, kyunki show mein aaye tha khair, it’s all about luck. Sabka apna-apna luck hota hai. Kyunki aaye the bahut saare log, toh hota hai ki bahut saare comments bhi aaye the logon ke, ‘Yaar, inko liya aap logon ne, inko liya isliye show band ho gaya, this and that.’ Log bahut baatein karte hain.”
He added, “Mujhe lagta hai ki show kisi ek ki wajah se nahi chalta. Show chalta hai aapke luck se. Jab aapka time aata hai, toh chal hi jaata hai. Aur uske chakkar mein, kyunki dekhta hoon. TV industry hai, sab ek doosre ko jaante hain. Secondly, phir aisa hai ki yaar, humne Saathiya 2 kiya tha, toh main dekh raha tha ki jab Saathiya 2 kiya tha humne, usmein humein jo dikhaya gaya tha woh kaisa tha. Us hisaab se maine ek-do episodes dekhe hain shuru ke”
Mohammad Nazim On Amar Upadhyay’s Comeback As Mihir Virani
Talking about Amar Upadhyay playing the role of Mihir Virani again, the Saath Nibhaana Saathiya actor said, “Kyunki mein Amar Upadhyay bhi hai, aur woh bhi hamare show mein the. Woh Saathiya mein the, meri jo beti bani thi Meera, unke husband bane the. Aur Amar Upadhyay is a big name. Humein laga ki yaar, yeh banda hamare show mein aa raha hai. Aur us time pe woh I think kitne saalon se ghar baithe the. Hamare show Saathiya se unhone comeback kiya tha.”
Mohammad Nazim On Smriti Irani’s Comeback
Speaking about Smriti Irani’s comeback to TV with Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2, Nazim said, “Bahut bada comeback hai. Maine matlab unka kam dekha hai because us time jab dekhte the, hum struggle kar rahe the. Haan haan, of course. Main us time struggle kar raha tha, kabhi-kabaar dekhta tha. But jo abhi dekha hai, toh different tareeka hai, kyunki unka bhi persona change ho chuka hai.”
He concluded, “Abhi woh Lok Sabha mein baithti hain, baat karti hain toh unka alag pehchaan hai, unki party bahut badi hai. Woh apni party BJP mein hain, kitni badi hai na. Toh woh ek alag persona ban gaya unka. Lekin ab jab TV mein dekhte hain, toh lagta hai ki bhai, acting inse gayi nahi hai. Inke andar toh koot-koot ke bhari hui hai. Toh yeh toh chalti phirti school hain. Inse toh seekh rahe honge bahut log.”
