Akshay Oberoi is currently basking in the positive reviews he has received for his role as Basheer ‘Bash’ Khan in Fighter. He was last seen in The Broken News 2 and is now gearing up for the release of Illegal Season 3. Akshay will be seen with Neha Sharma in this series. Ahead of the series release, Akshay Oberoi got in a candid chat with Bollywood Bubble and spoke about his experience working with Deepika Padukone in Fighter. The actor also spoke about his relation with cousin Vivek Oberoi.
Akshay Oberoi recalls being worried for Deepika Padukone
During the interview, Akshay was quizzed if Deepika Padukone was put on trial (a reference from his series Illegal where he plays the character of a lawyer.) what would he ask her. Oberoi replied, “In intervals that I meet her, the stardom just grows but she stays as human as possible. I always wonder how does she manages that.”

Akshay said, “This was in Kashmir, and we’re going the valley in Pahalgam. I am trying not to slip on that ice. I am only thinking that this (Deepika Padukone) is the queen, like if I die it won’t matter much. But, if she dies, it’s all done. My life’s gone. It was so snowy and icy but I somehow managed.”
