Actress Aneet Padda is all set to take on a powerful new role in an upcoming courtroom drama, Nyaya, starring alongside Fatima Sana Shaikh and Arjun Mathur. Known for choosing bold characters, Aneet steps into the shoes of a young survivor. The film promises a gripping tale of justice, courage, and truth.

Aneet Padda To Portray Young Survivor

According to Bollywood Bubble sources, “Aneet Padda will be seen playing a victim, who takes a brave stand against a powerful (Godman) spiritual leader who has misbehaved with him. The story follows an intense courtroom drama that will fight against justice for women. Her character is central to the story and brings emotional depth to the narrative. It aims to highlight themes of justice, power imbalance, and courage.”

This film marks a significant role for Saiyaara fame Aneet, showcasing her in a challenging and impactful performance. It is directed by Nitya Mehra, known for Baar Baar Dekho and Made in Heaven, and her husband, Karan Kapadia. This marks their second project with actress Aneet after Big Girls Don’t Cry. The show also stars Mohd. Zeeshan Ayyub, Raghubir Yadav, and Rajesh Sharma.

On the work front, Aneet was last seen in Saiyaara with Ahaan Panday in the lead role. The film was produced by Yash Raj Films and directed by Mohit Suri. It hit the screens on July 18.
