Apoorva Arora Urges Media To Not Jump To Conclusions In Rhea Chakraborty’s Case
Apoorva expressed concern over how women in the industry are often targeted unfairly and how trial by media can deeply affect mental health. She emphasized the need for responsible journalism and fair investigations instead of hasty judgments. In an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Bubble, Apoorva Arora expressed, “I think the media should take note that no conclusions should be drawn until a judgment is given by the court. The way things unfolded made it incredibly difficult for that girl—people even reached her home. It’s heartbreaking that she lost a friend, a partner, and didn’t even get the time to grieve because she was subjected to immense scrutiny and slut-shaming. As a society, we need to reflect on where we are headed if we continue treating someone this way while the case is still in court.”
Apoorva also praised Rhea for showing resilience, hoping that the industry and public would learn from this ordeal and treat people with empathy.
