Known for his energetic presence, strong task performance and straightforward attitude, Gauresh Gujral has emerged as one of the more consistent and dependable contestants on Splitsvilla X6, often letting his actions speak louder than the drama around him. In an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Bubble, Gauresh opened up about whether former MTV Roadies contestants really have an advantage in tasks and if makers show bias toward certain participants. Sharing his honest take on the “Roadies advantage” conversation, Gauresh said,“Yaar, advantage dekho, kisi aur ko lagta ho toh lagta ho, main toh nahi maanta ki advantage hai. Haan, jo pehle se challenge dekh rahe hain unko thoda idea hoga ki kaise tasks ho sakte hain, thoda mitti-vitti mein karne ka idea ho sakta hai, woh maanta hoon.”

He further explained, “Lekin jab challenge saamne hota hai aur tumhe bataya jaata hai kya karna hai, sabko equal samjhaya jaata hai. Sabko equal hi milta hai. Uske baad performance tumhare upar hai ki tum kaise karte ho. Mere hisaab se advantage tabhi hai agar tum khud perform achha kar pao. Wahi baat hai, jisko jaise samajh aa jaaye.”

Moving on, Gauresh reflected on allegations that makers may favour certain contestants through edits. He said, “Yaar abhi tak mere ko pyaar mil raha hai toh mere ko koi problem nahi hai makers se. Dekho, hate bhi milega toh koi nahi. Show hum kar lete hain, baaki sab makers ke haath mein hai. Woh kaise edit daalenge, woh unka call hai. Mere bolne se ya Himanshu ke bolne se kuch change nahi hoga. Jaisa unko daalna hai, waisa hi daalenge.”

He added that the sheer volume of content makes heavy trimming unavoidable, “Main maanta hoon hum log bahut reality dete the, 4-5 ghante ki reality, 8-9 ghante ke challenges shoot hote the. Unko sirf 1–1.5 ghante ka part dikhana hota hai, toh obviously chhote-chhote clips daalne padte honge, bahut kuch delete karna padta hoga.”

Gauresh Gujral: Kisi Ka POV Cut Nahi Hona Chahiye

However, Gauresh firmly believes fairness should extend to showing both sides of conflicts, “Lekin haan, main maanta hoon ki kisi ka point of view cut nahi hona chahiye. Jaise maan lo Himanshu aur Yogesh ki ladayi ho rahi hai, aur sirf Yogesh ki side dikha di, Himanshu ki side nahi dikhayi, toh woh unfair hai. Dono ki 2-2 minute side dikha do, koi problem nahi hai.”

He concluded that the experience inside the show remains raw and real, “Baaki mere ko makers se koi problem nahi hai. Aur rahi baat reality show ki, real hai, 100% real. Itni reality dete-dete hum log thak jaate hain, bhai sach mein phat jaati hai reality dete-dete.”
