While his physical transformation was visible on screen, Aryan reveals that the real challenge lay beyond just appearance.
Aryan Pushkar On His Transformation For Ikkis
Talking about his preparation for Ikkis, Aryan shared that the journey involved a deep mental shift along with physical changes. “Yes, apart from the physical transformation, there was a significant mental transformation that I had to make,” he said. The actor had earlier spoken about his weight loss, but he explained that preparing his mindset was equally important for the role.
Aryan added that he worked hard on building mental strength and discipline during the process. “I don’t want to get into the specifics, but I know how hard I’ve worked for this and how many years I’ve spent to get this opportunity,” he shared. As a newcomer, he was careful not to get carried away and focused on staying calm in every situation. “I wanted to become even more resilient mentally and model myself into not getting carried away,” he added.
The actor also credited his co-stars for their constant support. Aryan mentioned that Agastya Nanda played an important role in guiding him through the process. “Agastya is wise beyond his years and always suggested practising mental restraint, especially during good times, to stay grounded,” he said. He also spoke warmly about Vivaan, calling him a big-brother figure.
Expressing gratitude, Aryan thanked the team behind the film. “A big thank you to Dinesh Vijan sir, Binny sir, Poonam ma’am, and Maddock for believing in me,” he said. With Ikkis, Aryan Pushkar has taken a strong first step, showing dedication, humility, and a clear focus on growth as an actor.
