Actor Avinash Tiwary addressed the ongoing debate comparing Ranbir Kapoor starrer Animal to his film The Mehta Boys. While Animal, starring Ranbir Kapoor, is a high-octane action-packed film, The Mehta Boys is a more nuanced, character-driven drama.

Avinash acknowledged the contrasting genres and stated that both films Animal and The Mehta Boys cater to different audiences. In an intense conversation with Bollywood Bubble, he opened up about how he sees the father-son bond in two different films, Animal and The Mehta Boys and stated, “Animal and The Mehta Boys carry a very similar theme of love and compassion towards father and son – but both films are brought to the fore in very different ways with different visions. Regardless of that, the viewers have connected with them because of the bonds they showcase.”

He added, “It’s like viewers have certain unsaid feelings that are difficult to express, but they are expressed by the characters in these films – and I feel that the ‘connection’ is where the films have turned up as winners.”
