EXCLUSIVE: Celebrity Photographer Avinash Gowariker Credits Salman Khan For Him Being In Bollywood; Talks About Shooting With Bhaijaan And His Iconic Bracelet

Avinash Gowariker is a renowned photographer celebrated for his work in celebrity and advertising photography, particularly within the Bollywood industry. He started his career as an assistant director and has worked with Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Aishwarya Rai, Deepika Padukone and others. When shown a collage picture of Salman Khan, Avinash Gowariker answered, “He’s my beginning. He’s one of the reasons why where I am. So, just for me shooting with him, being with him, some things are too emotional. How do I put them in words? And he understands photography, and he loves it. He takes great pictures.”

Avinash On Salman’s Iconic Bracelet

When asked about the secret of Salman Khan’s bracelet just being an iconic look for the star, the celebrity photographer said, “I have no clue. It’s his bracelet. The way he does it.. malum hi nahi woh bas hai. He carries it so easily, he doesn’t try to do anything with it. You’ll never see him trying to do something with it. So as a DOP or photographer if you can capture it’s great.”

Adding further, Avinash said, “Alag hi aadmi hai. In his films, there’s a dialogue ‘Dil Mein Aata Hoon, Samajh Mein Nahi’. It’s the most real thing he has ever said. He is difficult to understand. He’s too cool, too good.”
