Chitrangda Singh is an actress who works primarily in Hindi films. She made her acting debut with Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi (2005). Singh is known for her appearance in Yeh Saali Zindagi (2011), Desi Boyz (2011) and I, Me Aur Main (2013), Baazaar (2018), Bob Biswas (2021) and Gaslight (2023). She turned producer with Soorma (2018). Singh has since appeared in the series Modern Love Mumbai (2022) and Khakee: The Bengal Chapter (2025). In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble, Chitrangda Singh revealed what fans actually don’t know about Akshay Kumar.

When asked what is something fans don’t know about her Housefull 5 co-star Akshay Kumar, Chitrangda Singh said, “But you know, the fans know him so well. What can I tell you? I mean, what can I tell you about him that he’d be okay with…It’s that he truly believes in very organic and very desi things. He doesn’t even like to use, how do I say this, even the almond oil he consumes, he prefers to have it ground and extracted fresh. And he doesn’t like buying it. He genuinely follows what he preaches. Everything is very organic.”

She added, “He only takes homoeopathic medicine; nothing else. It’s just amazing how that man… I mean, he lives like a saint. Seriously, he leads the life of a saint. Everything is pure and organic. He really believes in that. He doesn’t use artificial protein powders or anything like that; he doesn’t believe in any of it. He’s a completely dil se desi guy—a desi guy at heart. And what I love about him is that he’s so honest about it. You know, it’s not like he preaches one thing and does another. Genuinely, he just doesn’t believe in those things at all.”
