Deepak Tijori is a film director and actor who has worked in Bollywood and Gujarati films for several years now. The actor, who became a household name after playing Shekhar in Aamir’s debut film Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar, is all set to impress the audience with his upcoming project, Echoes of Us. While promoting the short film, the actor sat down for an exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble. During the chat, Deepak Tijori revealed the sweetest gesture of Shah Rukh Khan, Saif Ali Khan and Aamir Khan at Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar premiere.

Deepak Tijori Recalls When Shah Rukh Khan, Saif Ali Khan And Aamir Khan Came To Support Him

When shown a picture from the Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar premiere, Deepak Tijori recalled, “This was unique. This is Shah Rukh Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Rahul, Sudesh Beri, and Aamir Khan. And this was all, basically, so sweet. You know, I remember it was a scene from my premiere. And I was a struggling actor at the time. The film was Pehla Nasha. So, it was a premiere for a struggling actor. These actors came to the premiere and each of them said a line, like their own dialogue.”

He added, “It was so fair of them, and that kind of thing never really happened. It is the only time ever in the history of Bollywood, exactly, that this happened. They came. So sweet of them, because that’s what friendship was like in those days, which doesn’t really happen anymore. These days, people don’t even go to each other’s premieres. But back then, just to support me, even though we were in the middle of shooting a film, they all showed up at the premiere. It was really sweet of them.”

It starred Aamir Khan, Ayesha Jhulka, Deepak Tijori, Mamik Singh, Pooja Bedi and Kulbhushan Kharbanda. The music was by Jatin–Lalit.
