Ashley Rebello On Uorfi Javed’s Rise In The Fashion World

During our chat, we highlighted how Rakhi Sawant recently praised Uorfi Javed for becoming a style icon after initially wearing controversial outfit and appearing nearly naked in front of the media/paps. When asked his views on Uorfi’s fashion choices and creation, Ashley Rebello replied, “As far as Uorfi Javed is concerned, it takes guts to go about like her and also the way she comes up with ideas is fabulous. It’s amazing because her mind works overtime, and that is creativity at its best. She’s not a designer, but creating things which are just eye-popping, it’s fab.”

Highlight how far she’s come now, the designer-stylist continued, “She did a whole story with all the top designers from Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla, to Varun Bahl and others. People appreciate the work you do, but if you don’t continue to do the same, then it’s short-lived. You have to work really hard. I think that Uorfi is one person who, among the millennials, has just made it work for her, around her, and has created a brand for herself, which is wonderful.”
