Hiten Tejwani Supports Rupali Ganguly Over Her Statement On TV Actors Receiving National Recognition

Rupali Ganguly, best known for her TV serial Anupamaa, once expressed that TV actors deserve recognition at the National Awards as well, emphasising that acting is acting and should not be categorised. When asked for his opinion on the matter, Hiten Tejwani said, “I believe it. She’s right. She is very right. I completely agree with her. Hona chaiye. Ek TV actor bhi mehnat karta hai toh woh kyu neglected hai? “

He further added, “Jabki log aaj bhi, there are certain cities, towns, and areas where they watch TV. They are really hooked on TV. So it should be. And every actor who is there, who is working, puts in an equal amount of hard work, and others or he is equally famous as others. So there should be an award. If she is saying national award, then I agree with her that there should be an award.”
