Mohit Tiwari On Subedaar Reading With Suresh Triveni
Sharing an interesting anecdote filmmaker Suresh Triveni from the sets of Subedaar – before the film even went on floors, Mohit Tiwari said, “After my first reading with Suresh Triveni and Radhikka Madan -alongside whom I play a brief role as her boyfriend, I felt that even though my part was small but the track was important so I wanted to understand the larger world of the story, where my character comes from and how he fits into the narrative. So I requested our director Suresh Triveni if I could hear the full story. He mentioned he was doing a narration for the technical team and kindly invited me.”
Mohit continued, “When he began narrating, I was completely blown away. The film is set in Bundelkhand and the way he told the story was vivid, cinematic, humorous and deeply engaging. It felt as if the entire film was unfolding visually in front of us, from sweeping shots of the beehad to small emotional moments. By the end of it, the whole film was playing in my mind like a movie.”
Mohit: Suresh Treats Every Member Of His Team With Respect
Praising the filmmaker, Mohit Tiwari said, “What surprised me even more was his command over the language. I had assumed he might be from the south, yet he was effortlessly using Bundelkhandi expressions with great authenticity. When I asked him about it, he told me his life and work had taken him to many different places, being born in the south, growing up and spending time in cities like Jamshedpur and experiencing diverse cultures.”
He continued, “That rich exposure clearly reflects in his storytelling. And beyond his craft, what stands out is his warmth. Despite his serious first impression which is quite serious, he is one of the most cheerful and caring directors to work with. He treats every member of his team with respect and that’s why people around him are always ready to go the extra mile for him. It was an amazing journey with him.”
