Reem Shaikh, Tere Ishq Mein Ghayal copied

In an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Bubble Reem has opened up on Tere Ishq Mein Ghayal’s . comparisons with Twilight and The Vampire Diaries.

On the show being called copied from Twilight and The Vampire Diaries, Reem said, “I guess we just have a habit of comparing anything that we do in India of comparing with something. It is not only in television even Bollywood will compare something to the South. Television will compare something to Hollywood. It is our habit to compare and it’s ok as we cannot change the habits of each and every person. But I will say this story is inspired by Twilight and Vampire Diaries. But we have things that are quite different.

She added, “It’s an inspired concept but yet we have a lot of different things to offer. I just hope that we are a little more accepting towards ourselves as we are trying to deliver something different. It is not your typical saas-bahu drama. It is different and I want the audience to be a little accepting and a little open-minded towards different scripts on television.”
