EXCLUSIVE: Ishika Gagneja Confesses She Manifested Working With Diljit Dosanjh Ahead Of Border 2 Release; Says, “Everything Felt Like It Was Meant For Me”

Talking about the moment she auditioned for her upcoming project and the instant connection she felt with the character, Ishika Gagneja revealed how strongly she believed in herself during the process. She shared, “During the audition I felt main ye character play kar sakti hoon, main ye play karna chahti hoon. I think universe ne meri sun li, and when I got locked for the part, I met Anurag sir, the director of the film. He said, ‘Jaise hi tumhara audition humne dekha tha, we knew, we found Sukhminder.’ Toh, that was a very big moment for me that the director of the film saw the character in me for the very first time. Toh tab se hi the excitement has been crazy.”

Ishika Gagneja On Working With Diljit Dosanjh

Opening up about her experience of working with Diljit Dosanjh and the emotional full-circle moment it created for her, Ishika fondly recalled how admiration turned into reality.

She said, “He was this star jinka concert maine attend kiya tha, and I saw him on stage, and he’s such an amazing performer. We shot the scene, and as soon as the action happened, it was just brother-sister chemistry. By the end of the shoot it was really great. I told him maine aapka concert attend kiya tha 2024 mein Mumbai mein, and us concert mein na main height mein thodi chhoti hoon toh I couldn’t see him properly.

The actresses further added, “Toh mera ek dost hai, maine usko bola tha, ‘Main na kaam karungi inke saath, I’ll work next to him.’ And uske within a few weeks, I got an audition for this character and I was like ye toh main karungi. Everything felt like it was meant for me. And when I told him that I had manifested this and it’s happening, he also got so happy and it was a great feeling.”
