Iulia Vantur REACTS To Being Trolled
Iulia Vantur talked about how she deals with Trolls and how people continusly don’tt credit her for her sucess saying, “I think for all of you who ever want to be in front of the camera, you have to be ready first for getting trolled. Because, unfortunately, it became like a package, it comes in a package. Which is not good. It’s not a good direction. And I really hope that people will stop throwing their frustration and hate online. I mean, stop doing it anywhere. Because what we need right now is love, compassion. We don’t need that. And I think mostly these people who are trolling, they need love. They need compassion. Sometimes it happens.”
Iulia Vanture revealed that trolling would affect her and her family a lot at first, “Initially, I used to get affected. My parents used to get very affected because they didn’t live in this world, this entertainment world. So they were not used to it. And there were such bad stories. Even titles were created out of nothing. And I was suffering more because my parents were suffering. That was hurting me more. But then I tried to explain to them more and more. When they saw the reality, they saw my life, and they understood that these are just frustrated people throwing that garbage online. There were many moments when I felt like giving up just because I saw all these bad comments.”
Iulia Vantur On People Commenting ‘She Did It Because Of THAT Person’
Hinting towards how her success is often credited to her rumoured link up with Salman Khan. She said, “Many of them were like: ‘Oh, she doesn’t have a voice’, ‘Oh, she doesn’t sing’, ‘Oh, she did it because of that person.’ I mean, I’ve seen all these things, right? And I was doubting myself, thinking about these things. Then I thought, why should I be apologetic for something that I love doing? I do it with all my heart. I don’t do it for any other reason than the love of what I do, for the love of music.”
Reflecting on how faith helped her navigate criticism, Iulia said that music has always felt like a blessing in her life. She shared that singing fills her heart with joy, and she believes the opportunity to pursue it is a gift from God. Something she should never feel apologetic about, despite judgment or negativity.
She also shared how consistency and letting her work speak for itself eventually changed how people perceived her. Saying, “And I’ve noticed that in so many years, maybe I wasn’t accepted from the beginning. Maybe in the beginning, people said, ‘Oh, it’s nice she sings in Hindi,’ but then, because of other things, they started trolling me. But slowly, slowly, by being consistent and not trying to get too much attention towards me, I tried to let my work speak for itself. I think you’ve never seen pictures of me with different stars and all that, I meet them, but I never post. I never try to get attention through other people. Sometimes it happens by default, you know. But I try to speak through my actions, through my work.”
