Rising Bollywood actress Kashika Kapoor has made a life-changing decision, she’s turned vegan after witnessing a disturbing act of animal cruelty during her recent trip to Hong Kong. The actress, who was there for a cultural event, revealed that what she saw left her shaken and deeply introspective about her lifestyle choices.

In an emotional conversation with Bollywood Bubble, Kashika shared with Bollywood Bubble, “I’ve always loved animals, but what I saw in Hong Kong broke something inside me. It wasn’t just about one incident — it was about realising how disconnected we humans have become from compassion. I couldn’t unsee what I saw, and I couldn’t continue living the same way after that.”

Known for her cheerful personality and passionate energy, Kashika admitted the transition wasn’t easy, but it was necessary. “The first few days were hard — especially giving up dairy and chocolates,” she said with a smile. “But every time I think of that day, it strengthens my resolve. I feel lighter, cleaner, and more peaceful now.”
