Parul Gulati Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2

Actress Parul Gulati – who is also a known entrepreneur and model, is all set to make her grand Bollywood debut in the upcoming Kapil Sharma-led comedy film Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2. With just months left until the standalone sequel releases in theatres, we recently spoke to Parul about having to wait 15 years to step into Bollywood and the reason behind why she was not approached earlier. Read on to know her answers.

Parul Gulati On Making Her Bollywood Debut 15 Years After Starting Her Career

When asked why it took her 15 years to step into Bollywood (given that she’s starred in Punjabi films) and whether staying away was a conscious decision, Parul Gulati replied, “When did I ever stay away from Bollywood? I just never got to do a film all this time….”

Elaborating further about not getting Bollywood projects in the years gone by, the ‘Kis Kis Ko Pyaar Karoon 2’ actress continued, “Once I started succeeding in my personal and professional life, that’s when the offers began to come in. It’s sad, but that’s the reality, people start noticing you once you’ve already ‘made it’ somewhere else.”

For the unversed, Parul made her Hindi film debut in 2024 with Silence 2: The Night Owl Bar Shootout. When asked why despite the mystery thriller – co-starring Manoj Bajpayee and Prachi Desai, being her debut the upcoming Kapil Sharma starrer is being given the tag, she replied, “Silence 2 was an OTT release, while Kis Kis Ko Pyaar Karoon 2 is my first big screen release. The scale and audience reach are completely different, so naturally this feels like my true Bollywood debut.”
