Kritika Kamra Reveals If It’s Exhausting To Keep Relevant

When asked if it’s exhausting to keep yourself relevant, Kritika Kamra answered, “It’s not exhausting, but you can go broke doing this. There’s no limit to it—broke in the sense of financially. Yes, I think so, because PR is expensive. These kinds of activities that you’re talking about, what we call P&A—publicity and advertising—for a film, or the marketing, are now expected. Because we’re treating ourselves as a brand: I am a brand, so let me treat myself like a brand. But then, how much can you keep doing that?”

Kritika Kamra On Importance Of Social Media And Branding

Speaking of how important social media, branding are for actors nowadays, the Mitron actress replied, “What does branding even mean? How many things are actually happening organically right now? There’s also seeding, right? Like, suddenly, a certain kind of content starts showing up on our social media. It’s not always just the algorithm. Sometimes it’s like, you’ve never searched for something, but it’s still coming up because a product is about to launch, or a film is about to release, or something else is being promoted. And of course, it costs money to make that happen.”
