EXCLUSIVE: Nandish Singh Sandhu Opens Up About His Bond With Fiancé Kavita Banerjee, Shares, “I Feel That Love Is To Surrender”

Nandish Singh Sandhu, an Indian actor active in both Hindi television and cinema, gained widespread recognition for his lead role as Veer Singh Bundela in the popular soap opera Uttaran (2008) and has appeared in several notable Bollywood films and OTT series, including Super 30 (2019), Family of Thakurganj (2019), and Kadak Singh (2023). Nandish is gaining widespread recognition after his Netflix web series ‘Taskaree: The Smuggler’s Web’.

Nandish Singh Sandhu Talks About What Love Means To Him

Nandish Singh Sandhu got engaged to actress Kavita Banerjee in a private ceremony on September 5, 2025. When asked about what defines love to him, Nandish said, “I feel that love is to surrender. And surrender in a way where I’m not saying blind love. But surrender with faith. Hum jab surrender karte hai kisi ke saamne, hum uske saamne apna sab kuch rakh dete hai chahe vo humara Dil ho, humari family ho, ya humare demons ho, humari insecurities ho, humare triggers ho, hum sab kuch uske saamne rakh dete hai.”

He further said,” And then we say that now it is in your hands. You handle it the way you want to. I trust you completely. But at the same time, keep the power in your hands to bounce back if something goes wrong. It should not be that aapne sab kuch apna saup diya. You should always have that power within you to get up again. This is what I feel love is.”

Nandish Singh Sandhu also added, “I’ve also heard a lot of people say online that sab kuch apna mat dikhao. Keep the power in your hands. I don’t think it works that way. If you’re trying to keep the power with you, if you’re trying to be in control and you have those walls ya main apne dil ki baatein share nahi karunga apne partner se, kya pata yeh hurt kar de, then that’s not love. Then it’s something you’re holding back. You’re not completely giving in. So completely surrendering is love for me.”
