Naveen Kasturia On How Corporatisation Is Killing Writers’ Creativity
Speaking of how each TVF actor stands out, be it in a scene or the series, Naaven Kasturia said, “Yaar, I think writing bohot authentic hai. Mujhe lagta hai ki jaise system, jaise Hindustan ke system ki hum baat kar rahe the, industry bhi yahi se hai. I think India se hi hai. Toh agar system aapko woh provide kar raha hai na, toh actors toh bhare pade hain is desh mein yaar. Bhare pade hain! Abhi jo influencers ka daur chadha hai, chala hai, kitne log Insta pe itna effortlessly act karte hain. Matlab kitna smooth hai, especially comedy kitni smooth karte hain woh.”
He added, “Toh agar woh system, agar hum writers ko freedom dein, independent voices ko encourage karein. Ab toh aisa daur aa gaya hai ki bohot saare log ek call le rahe hain. Corporatisation ho gaya hai na. Matlab agar 30 logon ka approval chahiye ek cheez ke liye, toh woh toh sabse generic cheez hi hogi na. Formulae pe hi paisa lagayenge, jo already 40 baar ho chuka hai.”
He was last seen in Salakaar.
