EXCLUSIVE: Nikki Tamboli, Arbaz Patel Recall Fond Ganesh Chaturthi Childhood Memories; Request Fans To Spread Positivity This Festive Season

Ahead of Ganesh Chaturthi 2025, Nikki Tamboli and Arbaz Patel have a special message for their fans. Both met on the sets of Bigg Boss Marathi 5 and confirmed their relationship earlier this year.

When asked about how they celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi as children, Nikki Tamboli answered, “Main toh bachpan mein society mein rehete the hum, and me and meri family. Toh wahan pe society mein Ganpati Bappa aate the. Toh kaisa hota tha Ganpati ke time na, matlab contribution nikalta tha har ghar mein jaane ka aur paise jama karne ka. Main sabse pehle aage rehti thi ki Bappa ka hai toh jo log matlab rent pe bhi rehte the, agar wo ghar ka rent bhi nahi bhar pa rahe hain, toh bhi Bappa ke liye tumko paise daalne hi padenge. Bilkul yeh sahi baat hai, actually mein exactly, haan. Toh waise hi celebrate karti thi main.”

Arbaz Patel said, “Hum log matlab jab main chhota tha, jo area mein hum log rehte the, society toh nahi tha lekin gali mein rehte the, aur sab ek saath rehte the. Toh Diwali, Holi, Ganpati, Eid sab hum saath mein celebrate karte the uss time pe. But abhi shayad culture change ho raha hai society mein.”

Nikki Shares Her Love For Bappa

The actress interrupted Arbaz and said, “Aur raton-raat main toh soti bhi nahi thi. Bappa agar dedh-do din ka hai na, toh hum log sote nahi the. Hum sab decoration karte the mandir mein. Hamare society mein ek mandir hota tha, toh woh mandir decorate karne ka, kyunki hum tab school mein padhte the. Lekin Bappa ke bahaane main ghar se permission leti thi, ‘Mere ko neeche jaane do, mere ko decoration karna hai.’ Toh ghar wale kehte the, ‘Haan chalo aaj padhai nahi karoge toh bhi chalega.'”

Continuing, she chimed, “Toh poora saal main wait karti thi, kyunki mere ko padhai mein koi interest nahi tha. Sirf Bappa mein interest tha. Toh poora saal main wait karti thi, ‘Kab Ganpati Bappa aate hain, kab main ghar se bunk maar ke chal jaaun, ki chalo poori raat mandir mein hi sona hai and all of that.’ Toh mere ghar wale permission dete the. Yeh bolte hue—’Bappa aa gaye na, ab isko banaya gaya hai.’Main toh pagal hoon, matlab Bappa ke liye.”

Nikki’s Wish For Ganesh Chaturthi 2025

Speaking about her wish for this Ganesh Chaturthi 2025, the Bigg Boss fame answered, “Wish toh bohot kuch hai. But sabse badi wish yeh hai ki hum dono ko nazar na lage kisi ki. Kyunki har saal hum apne liye maangte hain, aaj hum dono ek doosre ke liye maang rahe hain.”

Nikki Tamboli And Arbaz Patel’s Message For Ganesh Chaturthi 2025

When asked to share a message to fans this Ganesh Chaturthi, Nikki said, “Darsakon ke liye yahi ek wish hai ki Bappa aane wale hain. Khushi ka mahaul hai chaaro taraf aur duniya mein hate bohot zyada hai. Toh yahi ek bahaana samajh lo ki Bappa aane wale hain. Toh please spread positivity aur dher saara pyaar. Hum logon ki taraf se aap sabhi ko bohot bohot pyaar hai, blessings hain, plus Bappa ki blessings hain.”

Answering the same, Arbaz said, “Aur main aap logon ke liye bolunga ki jab aa rahe hain Bappa, toh aap log bohot safety se saari cheezein karo. Kyuki main sunta rehta hoon ki bohot saari cheezein aisi ho jaati hain— aagman ke time pe bhi ya rallies mein jaate hain toh bhagdad mach jaati hai. Toh main chahunga ki sab apna-apna discipline mein saari cheezein karein aur enjoy karein.”

Nikki concluded, “Aur ek aur baat, jab Bappa jaate hain, toh log patakhe, crackers lagate hain. Toh, please do not burn crackers.”
