Nikki Tamboli has managed to leave an indelible mark on audience with her fearless journey in Bigg Boss Hindi and Marathi. However, she is disinterested in watching the show and and feels like it has lost authenticity. In an exclusive chat with Bollywood Bubble, Nikki shares how anyone is coming to Bigg Boss and promoting vulgarity.
Nikki Tamboli on current state of Bigg Boss
When asked about if Bigg Boss is losing authenticity, the actress says, “Ab toh bahut kharab hogaya hai. Yeh main kahungi that I am no more interested in watching Bigg Boss. I don’t know kyun kharab ho gaya hai. Yeh influencers aur jo bhi actors aa rahe hain har logon mein talent hota hai. But mujhe lag raha hai they are just doing it for the sake of doing it. Ki unko carry forward karna hai Bigg Boss, isiliye kisi ko bhi la rahe hain. (Now it’s gotten really bad. I would say that I’m no longer interested in watching Bigg Boss. I don’t know why it has gone downhill. These influencers and the actors who are coming in — yes, everyone has some talent. But it feels like they are just doing it for the sake of doing it. Just to carry forward Bigg Boss, they’re bringing in just anyone).”
She added, “Kuch actors aa rahe hain, kuch influencers aa rahe hain jo acche hain but kuch bhi ho raha hai. Like, kisi ko bhi aap la rahe ho. I don’t want to name it, but kisi ko bhi la rahe hain honestly and boom, they are gayab. Later what do they do? Paps ko bulata hai, spotting karata hai, gir rahe hain log. Usko zoom karte hain and that’s all that’s happening if you see. (Some actors and influencers are coming which is good but anything is happening now. I don’t want to name names, but honestly, they’re bringing in anyone, and boom they just disappear. Later, what do they do? They call the paparazzi, get themselves spotted, people are falling over, and that’s what gets zoomed in on and that’s all that’s happening. If you see). I don’t understand why Bigg Boss is happening?”
Nikki On Bigg Boss becoming vulgar
She further stated, “Bigg Boss is an entertaining show maza aata hai, masala hai. But humein weird gandh ko nahi dekhna hai. Humein acche logon ko dekhna hai. Chalo aap newcomers le lo — kyunki har kisi mein kuch na kuch hunar hota hai. Koi dance karke dikhayega, koi gaana gaa ke dikhayega. But vulgarity and cheapness — that I don’t support. And uski wajah se thoda market down ho gaya hai.”
