In the video, the TV star spoke about his victory on the popular reality show hosted by Salman Khan and mentioned that he had not yet received the prize money. The statement quickly sparked discussions online, with fans questioning the delay, especially since the finale aired in December last year.

However, the former Anupamaa actor has now clarified the situation. Gaurav explained that the vlog was recorded more than a month ago and confirmed that he has since received the full prize amount. He also requested fans to avoid unnecessary online debates and urged the media not to sensationalise the issue.

In a conversation with Zoom, Gaurav said, “Actually, this is being blown out of proportion. It’s from a vlog which was recorded nearly 40 days back, when I was travelling to my hometown in winters, but it got released some time back, so people thought it was a new recording. It isn’t.”

He further clarified, ” I have, in the meantime, received my full prize money. Also, in TV, the timelines take some time, which I have clearly mentioned in the vlog without blaming anyone. So kindly, please avoid hyping this up.”
