Raashii Khanna Reveals Why 120 Bahadur Co-Star Farhan Akhtar Is An ‘Effortless Actor’

When asked what she learnt from her 120 Bahadur co-star-director Farhan Akhtar, Raashii Khanna said, “I think he is very effortless as an actor. Aur bahut baar aisa hota hai ki jab ek actor hi director hota hai, toh unka director-side set par aa jaata hai. Lekin Farhan sir ke saath maine kabhi aisa nahi dekha. He just surrenders to the director’s vision. And he was like, ‘Aap jo chahte hain, main woh karoonga.’ Woh baat mujhe bahut achhi lagi. Because he really respected the director and his vision. Yeh ek cheez thi jo mujhe sir mein bahut acchi lagi. And he really respects women — that is something I have to say. He is one of the finest co-stars I’ve worked with, yeah.”

About 120 Bahadur

120 Bahadur brings to life the incredible bravery of 120 Indian soldiers from the 13 Kumaon Regiment. They fought with unshakable spirit in the iconic Battle of Rezang La during the 1962 war. Farhan Akhtar steps into the role of Major Shaitan Singh Bhati, PVC. He was the fearless leader who, along with his men, stood firm against overwhelming odds in one of the most heroic chapters of India’s military history. At its core, the film carries a powerful and moving message that defines their courage, “Hum Peechhe Nahin Hatenge”, a line that captures their unwavering resolve and patriotism.

Directed by Razneesh ‘Razy’ Ghai and produced by Ritesh Sidhwani, Farhan Akhtar (Excel Entertainment), and Amit Chandrra (Trigger Happy Studios), the film is an Excel Entertainment production and released in cinemas on 21st November 2025.
