Radhika Vidyasagar noticed the stray dogs on her Film City set and decided to take action. She personally arranged for all the dogs to be dewormed, making sure every dog present was treated.
Radhika Vidyasagar Calls Rescue Team To Deworm Stray Dogs On Set
Speaking to Bollywood Bubble, the actress said, “They live here with us. Film City is their home. We come and go, but they are always here. If we are working in their space too, the least we can do is look after their health.”
Between shots, Radhika stayed close to the dogs, comforting them and making sure the process was calm. “I did not want them to feel scared or stressed,” she said. “They do not understand what is happening, so it is on us to be gentle. People think you need big resources. You really do not. You just need to start.”
Her approach was hands-on and personal. “This is basic care,” she explained. “It is not about charity or publicity. If we can make them healthier and safer, we should. That is all that matters. Caring for them should feel normal. We do not need to wait for a reason to act. Seeing a need is enough.”
Those on set were inspired by her quiet determination. “It is not about doing something big. It is about noticing, caring, and acting,” she said.
Radhika Vidyasagar turned a regular day on set into a moment of empathy and responsibility, showing that even small gestures can make a meaningful difference for lives that cannot speak for themselves.
