EXCLUSIVE: Rajpal Yadav REACTS To Slapping Akshay Kumar In Bhooth Bangla Just As The Latter Slapped Him In Bhool Bhulaiyaa; Says, “Bahut Acha Lagta Hai”

After collaborating on numerous projects with Akshay Kumar, Rajpal Yadav is once again sharing screen space with the actor for the film Bhooth Bangla. In an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Bubble, Yadav spoke about his experience working with Akshay, praising the actor’s energetic and playful demeanour on set. He also revealed details about a scene in which he slaps Akshay, playfully hinting whether it could be seen as payback for his character Chota Pandit in Bhool Bhulaiyaa. Scroll down to read more.

Rajpal Yadav Opens Up On Working With Akshay Kumar

Akshay Kumar is widely known for his playful nature and for bringing a lively, fun-filled vibe to film sets. When asked to share any amusing incident or memorable moment from the sets of Bhooth Bangla, Rajpal Yadav said, “Main keh raha hoon hu ki film making apne aap mein ek masti hai. Koi bhi actor–actress, sab log set pe mastikhor, hanste hue sabke chehre dikhne hi chahiye. Kyunki aap parde pe masti karna chahte hain. Director ke interpretation ke mutabik aapke tan-man mein masti honi hi chahiye.”

He further added, “Aur masti hona bahut achhi baat hai. Akshay bhai hamesha masti karta rehta hai, ye badi achhi baat hai. Aur hum log ek dusre ki masti mein shaamil hote rehte hain aur ye chalta rehta hai. Phir jab ‘silent’ aa jata hai toh sab log silent ho ke kaam bhi karne lagte hain. Toh it’s a part of life, bahut achha lagta hai.”

Rajpal Yadav Reacts To Slapping Akshay Kumar In Bhooth Bangla

When asked whether his character finally got revenge after slapping Akshay in Bhooth Bangla, referencing the moment when Chhota Pandit was slapped by him in Bhool Bhulaiyaa, Rajpal Yadav said, “Aapko har scene dekh ke bahut maza aayega. Aur jahan pe joh aap scene ki baat kar rahe ho, I hope yeh scene aapko bahut achha lagega. Yeh film apne aap mein ek alag film hai. Achhi film dekhne ko milegi. Aur iske release hone mein main bahut andar se gadgad hoon. Kyunki karte hue jitna maza aaya tha aur Priyadarshan ji ka vibration dekh ke itna maza aa raha tha. Aur releasing pe bhi bahut achha positive vibration hai ki yeh film sabko achhi lagegi. Sabko achha gudgudayegi, achha hansaayegi aur achha Bhooth Bangla dikhayegi.”

Bhooth Bangla will be releasing on April 10, 2026.
