Randeep Hooda Clarifies His Bhedh Chaal Comment On Films Of Similar Genres

When speaking about his bhedh chaal comment on making films in a similar genre, Randeep Hooda clarified, “Dekhiye, jo jo chalta hai, logon ko lagta hai ki yeh chal raha hai toh aise hi pictures banate hain. Jis din wo nahi chalega, toh phir wo doosra wala jo chalega, wo waise hi banane lag jaayenge. So, in general, most of the industry, when it comes to its business, right. If a product is selling well, then you will keep making that product again. And once it doesn’t do well, and another kind of product does well, you change your thing, like any business.”

In conclusion, he said, “So, usi liye maine bola tha ki bheed-chaal hai, but still in that thing, there are sometimes things that happen which are clutter-breaking. Like the first horror-comedy that worked, that was a clutter-breaking. So, once that, everything has a saturation point, that audience has seen the same thing too much, they will want a change, and then they will see a new thing. It will be successful, then a lot of people will make that also. So, I think the key is to stay above that, but it’s very hard because you don’t know, really.”
