EXCLUSIVE: Sharad Malhotra Calls Wife Ripci Bhatia His Biggest Critic; Reveals If He’ll Ever Do A Reality TV Show With Her

Sharad Malhotra is best known for his roles like Banoo Main Teri Dulhan and Bharat Ka Veer Putra- Maharana Pratap. He made his film debut in 2012 with From Sydney with Love. In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble, the actor reflected on a partner’s support in life.

Sharad Malhotra married Ripci Bhatia in 2019. During the interview, he revealed that his wife gives him the best suggestions. Sharad is keen on doing a reality TV show and hints that he and Ripci might do a show someday. Scroll down to read more.

Sharad Malhotra On His Wife Ripci Bhatia’s Support

When asked about a partner or better half’s support in his life, Sharad Malhotra said, “Dekhiye, bahut accha sawaal hai. I think jaise hum kehte hain na ki hamare jo better half hote hain, unse hum bahut kuch seekhte hain, unse hum bahut kuch samajhte bhi hain. Kai baar hum apne ego aur apne attitude mein itne engross ho jaate hain, ya itne busy ho jaate hain, ya itne apne mein ram jaate hain ki humein pata hi nahi chalta. Samne wala agar humein kuch keh bhi de, toh hum sunte hi nahi. So I think it’s very important ki agar aapke better half aapko kuch keh rahe hain, aapki bhalai ke liye ya aapki improvement ke liye, toh definitely sunna chahiye.”

He continued, “Bahut zaroori hai. Luckily, meri jo better half hain, unhone kabhi bhi aisa kuch nahi kaha mere kisi kaam ko leke. Agar unhe kabhi lagta hai ki koi character bahut exciting hai, interesting hai, toh wo kehti hain ki it’s very interesting, bahut exciting hai. Kai baar wo kehti hain ki nahi, thoda aur exciting ho sakta tha, ya kuch different play kar sakte the, ya kuch alag tareeke se project kar sakte the. Which I think is great. Because agar koi apna hi aapko bataye ki, ‘Yaar, ye bahut accha hai’ ya ‘Thoda better ho sakta hai,’ toh woh aapko zyada samajh mein aata hai. Kyunki wo aapke apne hain, aapke saath rehte hain, aapke har ek expression ko jaante hain. Toh, I think it’s very important ki agar aapke better half aapko kuch sujhaav ya suggestions dete hain, toh sunna chahiye. That’s it.”

Sharad Malhotra On Doing Reality TV Show With Wife Ripci Bhatia

Speaking of if he wants to do a reality TV show with his wife, the Maharana Pratap actor said, “Mujhe ab dekhiye, mera toh bahut mann hai ki main reality show karun. Lekin Ripci (Wife’s name Ripci Bhatia) jo hai, meri better half, wo itni zyada camera ke saamne aana nahi chahti. Jo log unhe jaante hain, wo jaante hain ki wo thodi camera-shy hain aur industry se nahi hain. Toh unke liye thoda mushkil hota hai camera ke saamne aana.”

He added, “But I think, and I respect that. Pehle mujhe lagta tha ki, ‘Yaar, nahi aao na saamne. Mere liye toh normal hai.’ Toh, she used to say, ‘Aapke liye normal hai, but mere liye nahi hai.’ Haan, mere liye nahi hai. Toh, I respect that. Ab main kabhi force nahi karta hoon. But haan, agar kabhi aisa hua toh, jaise aapne kaha, reality show ke baare mein kabhi sochenge. Abhi nahi, lekin future mein ho sakta hai.”

Sharad Malhotra’s recent projects are TV series Ek Anjaan Rishtey ka Guilt 4, music videos, and a potential role in a film. He recently portrayed Lord Krishna in the Hari Om App series Jai Jagannath.
