Shilpa Shirodkar Takes A Trip Down Memory Lane

Shilpa Shirodkar is an Indian actress known for her work in Hindi cinema during the late 1980s and 1990s. She made her debut with Bhrashtachar and gained recognition for her performances in films like Khuda Gawah, Hum, Aankhen, and Pehchaan. Shilpa Shirodkar On Working With Amitabh Bachchan

In an exclusive chat with Bollywood Bubble, Shilpa Shirodkar shares an anecdote about her time on Khuda Gawah with Amitabh Bachchan. He says, “Khuda Gawah, my most beautiful memory, this is my 2nd film with Amit Ji. Very very close to my heart, mai Hum me Anita thi, Anita se Hina bani aur… meri zindagi ki bohot hi emotional film jise kehete hai, kyuki mujhe peheli baar filmfare ka Best Supporting Actress ka nomination mila tha.”

When asked about Mahesh and her sister, she said, “This is my family, My Mahesh, My Sister. This was on Mahesh’s birthday I think a couple of years ago and they are everything to me.”

When asked about Madhuri, she said, “My favourite favourite, bohot hi beautiful Madhuri, beautiful heart, beautiful soul, bohot bohot professional and extremely dedicated and the Marathi connection.”

When asked about Farah Khan, she said, “Chaiyan-Chaiyan, jinhone mujhe Chaiyan-Chaiyan nahi di, unke saath yeh photo hai. Farah se saath, Farah we need to work together. I know Chaiyan-Chaiyan didn’t happen in the 90s but, it’s 2025 so you owe me something really really big.”

Shilpa Shirodkar On Bigg Boss 

When asked about her time on Bigg Boss, she said,“Yeh mera bhi personal favourite hai, yeh mere 2 bohot hi beautiful dost joh maine joh Bigg Boss me banaye. Meri Chum nahi hai issme, lekin this picture says a lot about my journey in Bigg Boss.”

On The Work Front

On the work front, Shilpa Shirodkar made a name for herself in Bollywood with films like Khuda Gawah (1992), Hum (1991), and Aankhen (1993), where she showcased her versatility across various genres. After a successful run in the ’90s, she took a break from films and later transitioned to television. She made her TV debut with Ek Mutthi Aasmaan (2013), where she received appreciation for her performance. Though she has been away from the screen for a while, Shilpa remains connected with the industry and her fans, often sharing insights and memories from her career. Fans eagerly await her return to films or television.
