Sudhaa Chandran On Newcomers Facing Rejection
Sharing heartfelt advice for the younger generation that often feels overwhelmed by rejection and fear, Sudhaa Chandran reflected on how different times were when she started out. She said, “Arrey humare time pe, humare saamne koi example bhi toh nahi tha, aaj aapke saamne main khadi hu, toh agar us waqt main reject hoke main sochti ki main rejected ho gayi hu, bhai zindagi mein main kuch nahi kar paungi toh fir kaise hoga.” Emphasising that life is never linear, she added, “See, life is never a straight line; it’s up and down. Aapko agar success mil raha hai toh aapko failures ke liye bhi taiyyar hona chahiye.”
She further spoke about the importance of humility, especially during success. “Success ko aapko bohot hi modest hoke accept karne ki zarurat hai. Yeh mat sochna ki aaj successful hu toh mere se badh kar koi nahi hai,” she said, adding that while people learn to accept failure, accepting success with dignity is often harder. Sudhaa strongly advised, “Stress me kabhi bhi koi aisa decision na le jo aapke liye ya aapke parivar ke liye hanikarak ho.” Urging people to think of their loved ones, she concluded powerfully, “Jab main kar sakti hu toh aap log kyu nahi kar sakte.”
Sudhaa Chandran On Discrimination For Actors
Addressing long-standing conversations around discrimination while transitioning from television to films, Sudhaa firmly dismissed such notions based on her own experience. She shared, “I’ve been very lucky. Mujhe industry mein kabhi koi bhedbhaav nahi dekha. Mujhe bohot dil khol ke logo ne accept kiya hai, aur aaj bhi mujhe utna pyaar karte hai aur itni izzat mujhe milti hai ki aisa kabhi lagta hi nahi hai ki mujhe kabhi discrimination hua hai mere saath.”
Opening up about roles she wished she had done, Sudhaa Chandran revealed that her passion as an actor remains as fierce as ever. With a smile, she admitted, “Main joh bhi TV serials dekhti hu na, jitne bhi roles hai main chahti hu saare roles main karu. Main bohot selfish hu is maamle mein.” Whether it’s television or films, she confessed that the desire to explore characters still burns within her, saying, “So yes, the fire is burning in me.”
Sudhaa Chandran’s words once again underline why she remains a force to reckon with, grounded, fearless, and endlessly passionate. Her journey proves that setbacks don’t define you; your response to them does. Even today, her fire, humility, and clarity continue to inspire generations to face life boldly and keep moving forward.
