Tanuj Virwani opened up about the intense fandom he experienced after the success of Inside Edge, revealing how overwhelming it became—especially with female fans. He shared that after the show gained popularity, he started noticing a pattern of fans showing up at almost every event he attended.

While he was grateful for the love and support, he admitted it got uncomfortable when some encounters crossed the line. Speaking to Bollywood Bubble, he revealed, “From time to time fandom can get pretty extreme and I think some of them forget that we are also human beings and we have our private life and we would like our personal boundaries to be respected and regarded. Things got pretty intense after I guess the first and second seasons of Inside Edge I should come out.”

Tanuj also stressed the importance of setting boundaries, not just for personal safety, but for peace of mind. He said, “I would have like certain fans who would just show up at any and every event and sometimes I would be like how they even aware of this are they like following me? Are they stalking me? Do they have access to someone in my inner circle who’s filling them in on my day to day routine? So it does get a little, a bit much, but for the most part, literally, I think I have some amazing fans and they’re extremely respectful and they don’t kind of supersede any of my boundaries.”
