EXCLUSIVE: Tinnu Anand Reveals How Actors Request Paps To Snap Them For Self-Promotion; Reveals, “Abh Toh Sab Dhanda Hogaya Hai”

As Bollywood evolves, the pap culture becomes a trend, and Tinnu Anand has claimed that actors call the paparazzi for self-promotion. In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble, the filmmaker confessed how actors use promoters to stay relevant as well. Tinnu did not reveal any names but hinted at big personalities doing so. Tinnu Anand Opens Up On Today’s Pap Culture

When asked if he is aware of the pap culture nowadays, Tinnu Anand revealed how actors call the paps to airports and every place. He said, “That’s another way of promoting yourself. Yeh toh abhi business ho gaya. Abhi managers hote hain actors ke poora tam-jham jaante hain hum. Toh usko phone kar denge ki 9:00 baje ki flight hai inki, 8:30 baje pahunch rahe hain airport pe. Airport pe pahunch jaayenge aap, paparazzi tasveeren le lenge. Toh ye unko kaise maloom ki ye aaj aa raha hai, itne baje aane wala hai? They (Actors) call them first — paparazzi culture hai ye.”

Tinnu Reveals Actors Have Promoters

Speaking of actors having promoters, the director said, “Dekhiye, main kyunki writer ke family se hoon aur main ye bhi jaanta hoon ki unko ye kaha gaya tha, ‘Rs 5000 doge toh award mil jaayega.’ Toh mujhe ye sab jhoothapan lagta hai. Ye self-promotion hua hai. Logon ne kiya hai. Bahut logon ne kiya hai. Aur bade-bade actors ne kiya hai. Unke naam nahi lena chahunga. Lekin ab toh dhandha ho gaya hai. Ab toh every actor–actress, they have promoters.”

When asked about promoters do, and if it’s branding, social media management, Tinnu said, “Haan, logon se baat karte hain aapke baare mein. Woh pahunchte hain parties mein, jahan pe aap nahi gaye hain, woh parties mein pahunch jaayenge. Wahan pe aapko promote karenge — ‘Iss role ke liye aisa-aisa mera actor available hai, aap usko lijiye.’ Abh toh business ho gaya.”

Tinnu Anand was recently seen in Good Bad Ugly, Crazxy and Dil Dosti Aur Dogs. All these films were released in 2025.
