EXCLUSIVE: ‘Vijay Varma made me comfortable during our intimate scenes in Lust Stories 2,’ confesses Tamannaah Bhatia

Tamannaah Bhatia and Vijay Varma are two of the most talented actors in the industry. They are coming onscreen together for the first time in Sujoy Ghosh’s Lust Stories 2. Ahead of its release, Tamannaah and Vijay along with Sujoy Ghosh sat down for an exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble to talk about Lust Stories 2 and a lot more.

During the candid conversation, Tamannaah Bhatia opened up about sharing screen space with Vijay in Lust Stories 2. Tamannaah, who broke her no-kissing policy and did over romantic scenes, spilled the beans on how comfortable co-star Vijay made her feel during the intimate shots.

Tamannaah Bhatia showers Vijay Varma with praises

She shared, “Vijay was a very calming presence on the sets for me. Well, just to be able to make sure that I was channeling the character correctly and also, for me to be able to do the kind of intimacy that has been a part of this Lust Stories. I have never done this kind of intimacy in a film.”

Tamannaah added, “I think Vijay was just a solid actor who stood by me. I was almost like pleasantly surprised because I didn’t know how I will react to it. He, of course, has done certain amount of intimacy onscreen and I haven’t. So, I just didn’t know how I will react to it. But he was just extremely sensitive to the fact that it’s my first time on screen and I want to make sure that it looks good and it also feels right because here you’re trying to present a story in a thriller format which also brings out the theme of lust.”

Furthermore, Tamannaah went on to add, “He is just a brilliant performer. For me, I was just basking in the entire feeling of working with Sujoy (Ghosh) and Vijay.” She added that working with them has inspired her to work on scripts that ‘really excites me’.

During the conversation, Vijay and Tamannaah also revealed the one quality about each other that they love and tolerate.
