Speaking to Bollywood Bubble, he shared, “Yes, I’ve signed a film with Rakyesh Om Prakash Mehra called Karna, produced by Excel Entertainment. The reason for the delay is that Rakeysh sir is taking his time to perfect the script. He’s been working on it since the start of the lockdown in 2020, so for over five years now. He’s very meticulous and wants every detail right. Additionally, the film is planned as a two-part series (Karna 1 and Karna 2) with a huge cast and large-scale production, so the team is ensuring that everything, from script to budgeting, is properly aligned before filming begins.”

He further added, “We’ve also been undergoing extensive workshops and training sessions. Rakeysh Sir is very particular about authenticity—if a character needs to perform archery, ride a horse, or handle a chariot, we actually train to do it ourselves rather than relying on CGI. For example, we practised standing on chariots, aiming bows, and shooting arrows to make every sequence look genuine on screen. It’s a highly professional process, and the attention to detail ensures that the film feels authentic and immersive.”
