Well, if you've been dying to go on a vacay to Goa, Sydney, Australia, then simply watch this brilliant movie and you will actually be transported to the picturesque locations. The movie boasts of a fabulous cinematography by Ravi K. Chandran.

The musical trio gave us some of the best tracks in the movie that truly added to the energy levels and scored brownie points amongst the youth. Tracks like "Tanhayee", title track "Dil Chahta Hai", "Koi Kahe Kehta Rahe" and 'Woh Ladki Hai Kaha", were superb and each track was different from the other. You had a party number, then you had a touching composition, a fun-loving track, and so on. We loved the music a lot.

The movie's epic dialogues are still quite famous. Remember "Ya Toh Dosti Gehri Hai, Ya Yeh Photo 3D Hai", or 'Mujhe yakeen hai main sirf isliye janma hun, ki tumse pyar kar sakun'. The movie is just incomplete without these humourous one liners that add the extra punch to the script.

You won't believe this but 'Dil Chahta Hai' was Farhan Akhtar's first movie as a director and writer. What an amazing way to kickstart his career. It seems he had a magical pen on him, that worked wonders for the film's success. The movie's story-line and concept was executed brilliantly and kudos to Farhan for giving us one of the best youth-oriented movies of all times.

The movie was way ahead of it's time. A true game changer, the near-to-perfect bonding of the three characters Akash, Sameer and Sid connected instantly with us. Aamir Khan as Akash, Akshay Khanna as Sid, and Saif Ali Khan as Sameer brought tremendous depth to their characters. The ups and downs, the uncomfortable fights, and everything that this fantastic trio share in the movie resonated with us.

The ultimate bromance, and a cult movie on friendship, ‘Dil Chahta Hai‘, completes 15 years today! Phew, how times flies! It has been 15 long years, and the movie still holds a special place in our hearts, for the pure reason of having a neat plot with amazing performances. The movie was the debut directorial venture of the very talented Farhan Akhtar, who then went on to give us many entertaining stories. Starring Aamir Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Akshaye Khanna, Dimple Kapadia, Preity Zinta and Sonali Kulkarni in lead roles, the movie was, is, and always will be very close to our hearts.
