The very handsome and charming Aditya Roy Kapur has undoubtedly had a wonderful 2020 with the massive success of his action-thriller ‘Malang’ followed by his next collaboration with filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt for ‘Sadak 2’ to him completing 11 wonderful years in the industry. ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’  (2013) – Ayan Mukerji

The coming-of-age romantic comedy-drama featured Aditya playing the role of Avinash Arora. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, the film beautifully captures the bond of friendship between Avi aka Aditya’s character with Bunny (Ranbir Kapoor) and Aditi (Kalki Koechlin). Soon after the film had hit the theatres, fans had loved Kapur’s character and showered him with lots of love.

‘Aashiqui 2’ (2013)- Mohit Suri

Mohit Suri’s ‘Aashiqui 2’ became the turning point of Aditya’s career. Aditya as Rahul Jaykar enthralled the audience with his powerful performance in this film. He made the girls go weak in their knees all over again.

‘Kalank’ (2019) – Abhishek Verman

Helmed by Abhishek Verman, ‘Kalank’ saw Aditya portraying the role of Dev Chaudhry, who runs a liberal newspaper. For the first time ever, he’s seen romancing Alia Bhatt and their chemistry manages to strike the right chord with the audience.

‘Malang’ (2020) – Mohit Suri

Blockbuster ‘Malang’ marked Aditya’s second collaboration with Mohit Suri after ‘Aashiqui 2’. The dark thriller turned out to be the biggest hit of the actor’s career and established him as the new action hero, a genre which he attempted for this first time in his career. The action drama won the audiences with its unpredictable and edgy storyline and turned out to be a game-changer for the star. Portraying the role of Advait Thakur, Roy Kapur underwent a massive physical transformation and donned two completely different avatars in the film. His new badass avatar became a rage with his fans.

‘Ludo’ (2020) – Anurag Basu

A dark comedy crime film, ‘Ludo’ stars Kapur portraying the role of Akash Chauhan. A Netflix release, film’s gripping trailer has been received really well by the audiences. Romancing co-star Sanya Malhotra for the very first time, Aditya surprised his fans with a never seen before avatar in ‘Ludo’. Directed by Anurag Basu and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Divya Khosla Kumar, Taani Somarita Basu & Krishan Kumar, the film released on November 12, 2020. The film marks Aditya’s first collaboration with the celebrated filmmaker.
