Arbaaz Khan is undoubtedly one of the most underrated actors of Bollywood. In his career span, Arbaaz has played roles of almost all genres. He loves portraying negative characters and some of his grey shade roles were lauded by the audiences and critics as well. In fact, he won the Filmfare Award for the Best Performance in a Negative Role for the movie ‘Daraar’.

And again, the actor is grabbing attention for his yet another fab antagonist character in the web show ‘Poison’, the trailer of which has already been garnering praises. Check out the trailer here:

‘Daraar’ (1996)

When it comes to negative role, this movie of Arbaaz is a must have in any list. Where newcomers prefer to make their debut with the role of a lead protagonist, Arbaaz made his debut with a negative character Vikram in Abbas-Mustan’s directorial. He played the role of an abusive and manic husband who leaves no occasion to doubt and beat his wife Priya played by Juhi Chawla. His whimsical nature is spine-chilling and it wouldn’t be wrong to say that it is one of his best performances in a negative role.

‘Soch’ (2002)

In this psychological thriller, Arbaaz Khan stole the entire limelight with his character Om. Though Sanjay Kapoor and Raveena Tandon were considered as the main characters, Arbaaz’s role overshadowed them. He did a good job with his mentally disturbed character.

‘Maa Tujhhe Salaam’ (2002)

Arbaaz played an orphan Albaksh, whose character is involved in anti-national activities like transporting of arms. He manages to fight it out with Sunny Deol. But in the end, he has a change of heart, and it’s he who finally kills the villain. Such a powerful performance by Arbaaz.

‘Qayamat: City Under Threat’ (2003)

With the character of Ali Ramani, we get to see how an intelligent person uses his brain to do evil. The movie was successful at the box-office. Made on a budget of Rs 15 crore, this Harry Baweja’s movie was India’s first fully digitally graded film. Even though the film has many other villains, it was Arbaaz who stood out tall and strong among the rest. His portrayal will be remembered for ages to come.

‘Fashion’ (2008)

Arbaaz Khan played a grey-shaded character of a fashion tycoon named Abhijeet Sarin. He was an opportunist who used newcomers in the glamour industry to fulfill his own desires. Though Priyanka Chopra and other actors were appreciated for their performances, Arbaaz’s presence received rave reviews.
