‘Dum Maro Dum’

One of the most played songs at parties, ‘Dum Maro Dum’ was originally intended to be a duet between Lata Mangeshkar and Usha Uthup. However, the makers decided to make it a solo song and gave it to Asha Bhosle.

‘Chura Liya Hai Tumne’

The Urdu ghazal song, which has been picturized on Rekha and Farooq Sheikh went on to become one of the chartbuster songs in Bollywood. Composed by Khayyam and sung by Asha Bhosle, the song helped Rekha and Asha bag the National Film Awards in the categories-Best Actress and Best Singer respectively.

‘Yeh Mera Dil Pyaar’

Asha Bhosle was yet again nominated in the category of Best Singer of the year after the release of ‘Don’ which featured Amitabh Bachchan and Zeenat Aman. The soundtrack of the film has been composed by the famous duo ,Kalyanji–Anandji while the lyrics were penned by Anjaan and Indivar.

The song ‘Piya Tu Ab To Aaja’, featuring the beautiful actress Helen, it considered as one of the most quintessential cabaret item number ever in Bollywood. The singer was highly appreciated for her singing versatility that she showcased in this track.
